At the Blind Institute of Technology (BIT), we operate from a very simple yet powerful belief—talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. And that’s the gap we work to bridge every day. Our mission is to transform workforce thinking and create pathways for professionals with disabilities to not only find employment but to thrive and flourish.
We are a non-profit workforce development partner dedicated to unlocking the true potential of disabled talent. We are proud to be the only Salesforce-approved training provider for professionals with disabilities and to operate two Registered Apprenticeship Programs recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor. Our programs are scalable nationwide and advance workforce equity globally.
Our Academy → Apprenticeship model connects learning with real-world experience. Here, apprentices don’t just receive training—they gain mentorship, work on real-world projects, and step into paid apprenticeships with Fortune 500 companies. This experience sets them up for long-term success in career paths such as Salesforce Administration, Agentforce, Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, and Digital Accessibility (CPACC).
For employers, BIT provides a reliable, job-ready, and certified talent pipeline. This allows organizations to build teams that are more inclusive, accessible, and future-ready. For career seekers, BIT offers a path with no fees but abundant opportunities—including certifications, hands-on experience, and meaningful employment.
Beyond apprenticeships, we also provide staffing, Salesforce consulting and system integration, digital accessibility services, and corporate education—empowering organizations to remove digital barriers and achieve sustainable and equitable growth.
At BIT, our greatest strength is our people. Nearly 90% of our team members are themselves individuals with disabilities. We live the challenges, understand them, and know what works. That’s why we’ve built a model that takes people from learning → to earning → to thriving.
